About Shannon
Artist, graphic designer and illustrator.
My mediums include pastels, charcoal and pencil and I occasionally incorporate watercolour or other materials. I enjoy utilising a limited colour palette in multiple tones to create rich shadows and bright highlights, to evoke a particular mood. Subjects are often based on the human form.
Background
I hold a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and have over eight years experience as a graphic designer. I have always had an interest in art and drawing and have worked on refining my pastel techniques over the last few years. I aim to incorporate principals of colour, layout and alignment into my artworks.
